Risk Analyst Intern:
• Gain familiarity with company's rules and regulations
• Understanding of broker/dealer operations
• Experience with broker/dealer clearing services preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong risk, trading and operational system competencies
• Experience with electronic trading tools including risk and order management systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to analyze and take decisive action
• Ability to multitask and work with multiple internal departments
• High level of proficiency with spreadsheets and/or database programs such as SQL or MYSQL
• Understanding of liquidity and stress testing theory
• Develop and implement risk management procedures
• Analyze client risk profiles and trading strategies and implement appropriate risk parameters
• Assist operations staff with other tasks as necessary
